The B. Tech Mechatronics Engineering program is interdisciplinary program focused on the knowledge of integration of Mechanical Engg., Electronics Engg., Computer Engg. and Control Engg. Its application areas are enormous ranges from intelligent manufacturing to computer based mechanical systems. B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering program will strengthen the students with the skills that will allow them to design, construct and run factory production lines and automated processes. As Mechatronics is a Combination of many disciplines there are countless opportunities for a graduate in the field of Mechanical, Electronics and computing related industries. The Mechatronics Engineering is established in the year 2020 under the umbrella of Mechanical Engineering Department, offering Undergraduate program (B. Tech.) with an intake of 60 students each. The department is having laboratories which are equipped with some of the state-of-the-art equipments like PLC systems of different manufacturer’s, Robot.
